Every refund request is reviewed on its own merits. However, please be aware that in certain situations—outlined below—a refund may not be applicable:
- you have changed your mind about your subscription or a one-off purchase;
- you subscribed or made a one-off purchase by mistake;
- you do not have sufficient expertise to use the Placeit Templates;
- you ask for goodwill;
- you can no longer access a particular Placeit Template because it has been removed from Placeit (we advise you to create and download your Customized Products frequently or as soon as possible them to avoid this situation);
- you cancel your subscription before the end of the current billing period; or
- we made changes to the User Terms, unless those changes materially adversely affect your rights or your use of Placeit and in which case we may provide a refund for any whole unused months remaining in your subscription period;
- we have suspended your access to Placeit in accordance with these User Terms.
If you are only looking to cancel your Placeit subscription, you can go ahead, cancel it, and use Placeit until the account expires automatically at the end of the billing period. You can find more information on cancelling your subscription in this article.

If I’m eligible for a refund, how will I receive it?
If we decide to issue a refund, this will generally be done using the same manner and payment method used to make the purchase. Any payment made to you will be made in the currency Envato offered to you when you made your purchase, under the rules of the payment method, and you will be responsible for any currency conversion costs in accordance with section 22 of our Placeit User Terms.

Can I receive a partial refund for the annual plan?
If you have used your Placeit subscription to download items, we cannot provide a refund, either full or partial. Your annual plan will continue until its expiry date and will automatically renew unless you cancel it. Consider subscribing to a monthly plan if you are uncertain about committing to an annual subscription.

How long does it take to receive a refund?
Your refund will be processed back to your original payment method (5-10 business days for Visa/MasterCard, and 24-48 hours for PayPal).

What If I lodge a dispute with a payment agent?
Lodging a dispute with a payment agent (like PayPal) suspends your Placeit subscription and Envato account until the dispute is cancelled or resolved. As this process can be complex, we urge you to contact us first if a payment dispute arises so we can attempt to resolve your concerns directly.
